What is fire sign Flags?
Fire Sign Flags is a small craft business based out of Philadelphia, PA. Founded in late 2021 (We are talking between the weeks of Thanksgiving & Christmas…) Kat, AKA the Philly Felt Fairy needed to scratch a creative itch and chose to do so my making an abundance of silly, personalized pennants and signs out of felt for their friends and family. A baby, a cat, a dog, a few day jobs, 25+ markets, 100+ commissions, & 500+ sales later… Fire Sign Flags has become a staple in the Philadelphia area arts & craft community. And they don’t plan to leave any time soon.
Who is the philly felt fairy?
Kat Czekner-Wilson is a queer, non-binary, Philly-based artist, parent, & all-around silly goose of a human. They are the Philly Felt Fairy, an admittedly self-appointed nickname to encompass the absurdity and passion they possess for making beautifully unique flags, pennants, pins, hats, and much, much, much more all out of FELT.
